During the event window, participants who accept will be able to see each other’s live location, helping everyone arrive smoothly and stay connected. It’s a simple, structured way to organize everything from casual meetups to larger planned events without the chaos of group messages.
Roam & Share
Not every get-together has a destination.
Roam & Share is designed for times when people are moving, walking, travelling, exploring, or spending time together without a fixed endpoint.
Create a Roam & Share event, invite participants, and share live location for a set period of time. Everyone can see where the group is in real time, making it easy to stay connected, regroup, or keep track of each other as plans naturally evolve.
Quick Share
Sometimes you just need to share your location… fast.
Quick Share lets you start location sharing in seconds by choosing a duration and inviting participants.
There’s no need to set a destination or event details. Once accepted, live location sharing begins immediately and runs only for the selected time. It’s ideal for short meetups, pickups, or situations where simplicity matters most.
Family or Group Share
Family or Group Share is designed for ongoing location sharing with people you trust most.
Unlike one-off events, this type of share remains active, making it easy to stay connected with family members or close groups over time.
It’s perfect for parents, caregivers, or groups who want continuous awareness without repeatedly creating new events, all while maintaining full control over privacy and visibility.
SOS Help
SOS Help is built for moments when safety matters most.
With a single action, you can start an SOS Help event that shares your live location with your chosen emergency contacts.
Your last known location is preserved for the duration of the SOS event, ensuring critical information isn’t lost if connectivity drops. SOS Help is designed to support fast response, clear visibility, and peace of mind in urgent situations.
Event Chat
Every event in Geoshare includes its own dedicated chat.
Event Chat keeps conversations focused and relevant, allowing participants to communicate before, during, and after an event without cluttering personal message threads.
Chat is fully end-to-end encrypted and tied directly to the event, making coordination simple, secure, and easy to follow whether it’s sharing updates, changes, or quick check-ins.
Stealth Mode
Stealth Mode puts you in control of when your location is visible.
With Stealth Mode enabled, your location is hidden from event participants without leaving the event or chat. It’s ideal for moments when you need privacy or want to pause location sharing temporarily, all without disrupting the event or alerting others.
Private Geofences
Private Geofences allow you to define places where your location is hidden automatically, such as home, work, or other personal locations. When you enter a Private Geofence, your location is concealed from event participants unless you choose otherwise.
This ensures that even when participating in events, your most private locations stay private by default.
Customization
Make Geoshare feel personal, intuitive, and easy to use.
Customization lets you tailor how events and people appear on the map, making it quicker to recognise what matters at a glance.
Choose custom icons and backgrounds for events, personalize your avatar and profile background, and adjust localization settings such as your default time zone and units of measurement. These small touches help Geoshare feel familiar and effortless, whether you’re organizing a local meetup or coordinating across regions.

Encryption
Privacy is built into Geoshare at every level. Nearly all data within the app including live location sharing, event information, chat, and personal details are protected using strong end-to-end encryption.
Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and live location sharing is always real-time, with no location history created. Only a small set of information required for account setup, authentication, and regulatory compliance is handled separately.
Importantly, your location data and chat is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read or accessed by Geoshare.
Geoshare is private by design, encrypted by default.
