Unlike one-off events, this type of event is Always Active, making it easy to stay connected with family members or close groups over time.
It’s perfect for parents, caregivers, or groups who want continuous awareness without repeatedly creating new events, all while maintaining full control over privacy and visibility.

A Family or Group Share allows you to create an event that is Always Active.
When participants Accept the invitation, their location will be shared until the event is ended by the organizer.
Their location will not be shared if they respond to the invitation as Tentative, or Decline. You will not see them on the map if they are in a Private Geofence or in Stealth Mode.
Event Chat allows all participants to stay connected while the event is active.
The event and chat data is automatically deleted after 30 days after the Family or Group Share is ended by the organizer.
